Sophia got in her swimming pool for the first time yesterday. She was not sure at first if it was a good thing but after mommy got in with her she decided it wasn't too bad. Standing up in the water was her favorite, which made mommy and daddy nervous so we held on tight. She also liked to splash around and play with her duckie. For her birthday we're going to try Aunt Teresa's big pool again..not such a success last time but we'll see. Afterall, she'll be a whole year old (and much more mature then!)
We also brought back a toy from the past...the swing! We told Sophia how many hours she spent sleeping in the swing so mommy could get some sleep! She really enjoyed the lights and toys much more this time since she's big enough to reach them. Another shock was that it actually would swing with her in it...I thought she'd be too big!
